Academic assessment
We offer comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessments to determine whether a student has a Specific Learning Disorder—such as dyslexia or dyscalculia—or other learning difficulties. These evaluations can support eligibility for special accommodations, including Access Arrangements and Reasonable Adjustments, during exams such as the GCSE or IB.
multiple language
We offer assessments in English, French, Spanish, and Italian, allowing students to be evaluated in the language they are most comfortable with. For multilingual students, we also provide cross-language assessments that take into account their unique linguistic background and learning context. This ensures a more accurate understanding of their abilities, strengths, and areas of need across different languages.
reports valid
We can release diagnostic reports that are valid both in Italy and abroad.
As we are based in Italy, we follow Italian regulations as well as the International clinical requirements.
The Italian Law 170/2010 requires for the diagnosis of a specific learning disorder to be carried out by three professionals (an Educational Psychologist, a Neuropsychiatrist and a Speech and Language Therapist) all with certified experience in the field.
ATS Città Metropolitana di Milano
We have a team of clinicians that are approved by ATS Città Metropolitana di Milano so they are authorized to release valid certifications.
The typical procedure in cases of suspected specific learning disorders is as follows:
Parents contact us by email to have an introductory meeting.
Authorization form and the intake-questionnaire are sent to the family.
The family meets the Neuropsychiatrist for a medical consultation
The student meets the Psychologist who administers an IQ test and other neuropsychological/academic tests
The student meets the Speech and Language Therapist who administers language tests and academic tests.
The three professionals share their results and draw a final diagnosis.
The family meets with a member of the team for a feedback meeting
The family subsequently receives a report with detailed results and diagnoses, as appropriate.
